Gemini

I.
I know what rests in me, now I want to know what rests in you
Your darkness pervades my existence squeezing my soul to pray;
I reside in the light, you strive to bring me into the darkened night
Amongst the nightingales of demonic hate, close to the claws of hell
Why? What pains the soil of your breath so painfully as I have felt?
Is it how I left you? How I buried you deep into my own fearful grave?
How I told you your existence will not take me, swore you to my shadows?
Why? Do you whisper in my ear dripping droplets of blood touching my soul?
II.
This is what I live for, in you, as a part of you, waiting for
When you grow weak, when your doubts intrude I weep
To sew stitch after stitch alienating through self-distrust
Inflicting darkness to become your veil over human light
Disguising my hatred for you slowly devouring your beliefs
Twisting your heart to bleed discrepant disdain into your life
Making you walk in the valley of my darkness with all your fears
Until you no longer remember I was always the truth of your hate
End
