Joan of Arc

Joan of Arc

By R. Cary

Courage unleashed forgiving no one taking from everyone excessive

In disguise extracting strength of an arc pressed from my years as the

Earth has grown and I have fought since the arc of war; Joan was her

Name when my humanity began fighting in steel, an armor of many I

Wore but with only one I stood, marched along in faith and belief in

Unperverse surrender to what stood in her front, standing on what

Lived behind her, a mountain of human courage, the story we are

Here to tell when a human born of nothing but the skin of her back

Made everyone stand as tall, proud, faithful and hopeful in a knowing

In a thousand years more today would arrive laying over this thousand

Years when ideology of her becomes the ideology of us; lines beginning

To circle the globe now dividing us, another thousand years she told me,

In two thousand more we will all live this courage to find the fight of two

Thousand more in strength in knowing with all that seeks to blind us she

Is still here shining her sword of silver born of this earth and a shield with

Courage’s cross of our humanity leading our way; an eternal army fighting

To carve our path, one set of evil at a time never to let in us, our honor to

To live in dignity in deliverance of our very human care, as the thousand

Years war has passed we will beat this path, two thousand years we have

To go when human defeat, the history of evil and its once petulant soul who

Fell to this earth became how he failed to stand and fight giving to lost causes,

But in that is the day humans were born with our strength, born with our hearts

That never surrender and believe within; only faith as the story of the armor of

Joan of a thousand years has come to the light of heaven in two thousand more

End
